Back in Action...

With a new baby in tow, it's been a minute since I've been "doing" makeup. Well, I've been "doing" it on myself ~ LOL but even that can be hard with a little one. He's almost 2 now and I'm ready to get back in the game. My main focus is still doing reviews on products and offering makeup tips and tricks but I love applying makeup and provide service locally to clients for weddings, prom, night on the town, etc.

I have some upcoming reviews on some great products I've been testing out for awhile, including an amazing skincare line I'm in love with. Stay tuned for more soon...

What's your favorite look right now?

I've been so into the natural, yet smokey eye lately. I used to always wear different colors on my eyes or do a dark charcoal smokey eye, but my go to has been a lighter look lately. I still like to play up my crease but have been LOVING MAC's Nylon on my lid. It just makes my eyes POP!

Nylon is a Frost that is pale gold with icy shimmer. It is beautiful!! It's also fantastic as a highlight below the brow!

So where has this eyeliner been all my life and why had I never tried it? I'm talking about Sephora's 12-hour wear waterproof eye pencil. WoW! What an AMAZING pencil liner!

It's a beautiful Taupe that you can apply lightly or a little darker. It goes so well with a smoky brown or rose gold shadows when applied to the lower lash line.

If you want to smoke the eye liner out a bit, I suggest doing one eye at a time because it is waterproof so it dries quickly. That's a plus in my book though!
