Feeling Down? Pamper Yourself...at home

We all have those days where we feel down or just out of it. Whether it be that you’re sick, your time of the month or just the daily struggles of life that we all go through. Why not spoil yourself with a little pampering at home.
It can be as simple as painting your nails or you can step it up a notch with a nice bubble bath and facial. How many times do you actually take time out to take a bath instead of shower? A bath is very relaxing, so grab your favorite book or magazine (no phones or laptops) and RELAX! Escape the outside world for a much needed break. A bubble bath can do wonders for you ~ relaxing, helps tired muscles, softens the feet for at-home pedicures!

Here are my steps to a RELAXING evening:
Pull your hair up and away from your face and exfoliate your skin. Gentle exfoliation is key ~ scrub longer, not harder! You don’t want to damage the skin.
Slather on your favorite mask
Grab your favorite magazine or book or if you want to totally relax, put on your favorite music and light some candles. If you are on a computer a lot during the day, this is the perfect time to close your eyes and do nothing!

Unfortunately, I think society is lacking one thing and that is relaxing more. I can’t talk because I get caught up in the day-to-day hustle and bustle of life but if you can walk away from it for 20–30 minutes, your body will thank you.
